Eva Riesenhuber joined Next47 in 2018 and is based in Munich, Germany. As Next47’s CFO, Eva focuses on general portfolio responsibilities and accelerator development, as well as portfolio valuations and assessments of potential new investments.
As part of her accelerator development work, Eva launched the Next47 accelerator program, which helps Siemens identify and nurture the best entrepreneurial talent from within to create the next generation of businesses and amplify Siemens’ culture of innovation and ownership.
Prior to Next47, Eva served as Senior Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions at Siemens AG, where she was responsible for the Mentor Graphics acquisition, the Valeo Siemens eAutomotive joint venture and the Primetals joint venture, amongst other deals. Eva also spent over a decade working as a finance attorney for leading law firms such as Clifford Chance US LLP and Debevoise & Plimpton LLP.
Eva is the author of The International Monetary Fund Under Constraint, which exposes the legal dilemma facing the International Monetary Fund as it tackles international crisis management. She holds a Ph.D. degree in Law from the University of Frankfurt and a Masters of Law degree from New York University. Eva is a member of the Economic Advisory Council of Bavaria and an alumna of the German Academic Scholarship Foundation.
