Ching–Yu Hu joined Next47 in 2019 and is a Partner based in Palo Alto. She is driven by helping founders build world–changing companies. She is fortunate to partner with an ambitious group of founders that are enabling safer buildings and schools, building next–gen high performance silicon anode battery materials, unlocking employee potential to do great work, and transforming contact center efficiency with conversational AI. She draws upon her prior operating experiences as the co–founder of Skybox Imaging (a data and aerospace startup that designed, built, and launched the world’s largest constellation of high–resolution imaging satellites and was acquired by Google in 2014 for $500M), entrepreneur–in–residence at Google Area 120 (startup incubator), and scout for Sequoia Capital. She welcomes cold outreaches by founders, builders, and engineers anytime.
Ching–Yu holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in Operations Research Management Science and Statistics from UC Berkeley, and a Master’s degree in Management Science & Engineering from Stanford University.
